A: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn and remove any debris from the wax pool. This helps the flame stay steady.
Q: Why is my candle tunneling (burning down the middle)?
A: Make sure to let your candle burn long enough on the first use (2–3 hours) so the wax melts evenly to the edges. This prevents tunneling.
Q: My flame is too big or flickering. How can I fix it?
A: Extinguish the candle, trim the wick back to 1/4 inch, and relight. A properly trimmed wick ensures a cleaner, safer burn.
Q: There’s black soot around the rim. Is that normal?
A: Some soot is natural, but too much means the wick is too long. Keep it trimmed and avoid burning your candle near drafts.
